Snow up here is just gorgeous, and never gets slushy and or brown.

A couple of times in the recent past, it has thawed here in the northern hinterlands, once enough to melt the lake ice nearby my work. And we even had some thunder... truly strange. Winter utilities haven't been as hideous as previous either.

It's true. We live at White Sands Missile testing Range, but ya can't beat the rent. 'Duck' is the word used most often.
