A few Republicans from New Hampshire, where the state motto is 'Live free or go to Massachusetts, you damn stinking hippie' wanted to put up signs that read "Warning: Massachusetts Border 500 Feet". They thought it was a good idea to warn the freedom loving citizens of New Hampshire that they were about to cross into Commie country.

Were these guys Tea Party Republicans? Because Tea Party members of state and national congresses have proven to be the worst electees across the board, being both ideologues and idiots.

Man, that's awesome. Most granite staters despise Mass. with very good reason. Massholes have long been moving out of Taxachusettes and into Southern NH to take advantage of the cheap booze, very low taxes, and high quality of life. In the process they've been trying to change NH to be more like Mass.

Yeah, they suck.

I saw a bumper sticker the other day down here in our NC town. Said "I'm A Masshole". Written in green and white. It was wicked awesome. I wanted to meet the guy just because......

Well, my friend made a good point about the signs... He was driving out in the southwest part of the state on some back roads and several times dipped into Mass and he didn't even know it. Had he been carrying his pistol at the time, this could have landed him in some deep shit. There's much that's legal in NH that's not in MA. There's no seat belt laws, you can carry a gun, and fireworks are legal. All of these can get you a fine or worse in Mass., so in a way they do make sense.

So you think it's a good thing for the state to tell someone where they are rather than expect them to have a basic knowledge of geography?
