Some the buildings look quite unsafe and dangerous. Is that the criteria used for the ranking of most dangerous?

I think the people that drove over the bridge in Minneapolis right before it fell never imagined they lived in a dangerous city but those that followed learned differently.

Are the pictures in the video the reason for not stopping at a red light? Perhaps I've missed some of the conversation?

The reason he did not stop , is because he could have gotten
robbed and beat up, if he were lucky !

If not they could have killed him and took his truck !

Killing is the biggest thing going on now in some parts of
Detroit. You take your life in your hands if you have to
go through those streets.

Drive by shooting is killing even children.

They are just doing it to have fun ! Can you imagine that????

I can't imagine being in such danger can be fun but people do seem to have different thoughts of what both mean.

The video didn't seem to do alot to explain why Detroit is the most dangerous city. It looked more like, maybe, the saddest city.

No I guess the video did not speak of whats going on.

It used to be just stealing and getting beat up.

Now its take all including a life or two.......

And they think nothing of it.

That is the point.

People have grown up to poor family's were both Dad and Mom
had to work. That was sad!

And then came , sex off the streets ..........
Along with killing and beating up,stealing, etc......

The child that is broth up in this has no morals or value and nothing to look forward to !
That is a crime !

Well there is so much going on in Detroit that is not let known about !

Detroit has a lot of drive by shooting !
And shooting , because they can !
I do not think any one who lives in Detroit feels safe at night.
Girls very young being raped in the day time.
Of course all the stealing and crimes

Watch the show "Hard Core Pawn" which is a reality show about American Jewelry and Loan pawnshop in Detroit, just off 8 Mile. It's very revealing.

But as I understand it, there should be some improvement in Detroit as the car companies do well and the economy improves.

I sure hope so.......

That has affected a lot of people !

We once had health and dental coverage, but that went out the window.

Our son took a buy out just before it all happened , bad mistake on his part......
