Long time, no major postings. Been very busy, life has been running me pretty ragged. Divorce was finally finalized this year (married 6/29/1997, filed for divorce 12/08/2007 and finalized 01/04/2012) long time coming. The only thing good that came out of that mess was our 3 kids. Speaking of kids, can't belive they are now 17, 14, 12 & 6.. time has really flown with them growing up. After 3 & a half years as an overnight stocker at Walmart I was promoted to Department Manager of Toys & Photo (weird combo huh?) and believe me, the holiday season has kept me running. Relationship wise, doing quite well. Been with my wonderful man for 3 years now, and we have no plans to make our relationship a legal marriage even though we consider each other husband & wife.

Drat, typo & can't seem to fix it from my phone. Should read filed 2008. *sigh*

Took so long because the ex is a total control freak (hence reason 1 of many for the divorce), he wanted to fight over anything & everything, tried very hard to take the kids away from me completely with some pretty nasty (and very false claims, proven in court to be wrong). Had to go to court over bs no less than 15 times and every time I thought we had everything worked out, done deal.. we'd go into court and he would change his mind. Just glad it's finally over. Now I only have to have dealings with him when it comes to the kids. It's actually quite funny it took so long since his current girlfriend and him have been talking marriage for 2 and a half years, or maybe that's why it did take so long. Perhaps it was just her talking marriage lol.
