Since 2010, four Iranian nuclear scientists have been killed. The most recent is Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan.

Iran has said the US and UK played an "obvious role" in the killings.

The US denied and the UK condemned to killings.

Of course, this is Iran, the country that arrests you for spying because, well, just because.

People suspect Israel had something to do with it.

Like Herman Cain I have no facts to back this up, but I suspect both the US and the UK tacitly support and perhaps even secretly aid Israel in the dispatching of Iranian nuclear scientists.

In the USA....that is called "treason"!

Chocolategenii, It is true all countries punish working for the enemy. Whether it is call treason or something else. Australians have been jailed in China, and even flog in Saudi Arabia.

Whether the USA or the UK was involved in the assassination of the Iran scientists they provided the support and weapons for Israel. If Israel killed these men than we are responsible,

And you know what I say to that? Good!!

Overall I believe there has been a dozen or so scientists who have been killed or died under mysterious circumstances in recent years. These killings along with Stuxnet were sure to be done by Western nations(I'm including Israel in that).

If Iran wasn't a belligerent nation, they wouldn't have to worry about such things. It's just a shame we're not taking out any of the radical mullahs in the country who are promoting death to Israel and the US.

Isn't the killing of these scientists simply terrorism?

Or perhaps it's simply an offensive action to prevent a belligerent nation and self professed enemy of the US and Israel from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

No, not really. It's criminal and against all international law and against our own US laws, but not terrorism, which is defined as acts intended to bring terror to large numbers of people, sometimes entire populations (ala the holocaust). Killing Iranian nuclear scientists doesn't qualify.

If I was an Iranian nuclear scientist right now, I'd be seriously terrified.

Assassination outside of war is simply unjustifiable by civilized standards. Too much of it these days by self-professed civilized countries.
