Quite an expensive way for prospective book buyers (morons, really) to help Palin learn a bit about history beyond what may have happened in Wassila during her "illustrious" tenure as mayor.

(CNN) - Get used to this image - it's a cover that will be gracing every bookstore come November.

Harper Collins Thursday unveiled the cover art for Sarah Palin's forthcoming work set to be released in late fall, "America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag."

The cover features a smiling Palin looking straight into the camera while donning a flag pin and flag-studded bracelet.

Harper Collins, the publishing behemoth behind Palin's wildly successful 2009 memoir Going Rogue, says the new book "ranges widely over American history, [] culture, and current affairs, and reflects on the key values-both national and spiritual-that have been such a profound part of Governor Palin's life and continue to inform her vision of America's future."

What?! That woman wrote a book? Why'd we even teach them to read? Knew this would happen. Women all writtin' book and stuff.

And Lord forbid someone read a book. Oh. Can't have that.

Wax- I am confused.
She appears to be writing about history not asking her readers to help her learn about it.

Being a history buff myself let me give one bit of advice:
Don't ever pretend that the version you know is better or more correct than the version another knows.
There are facts... but they are nothing more or less than numbers.

The battle of Stalingrad was easier/harder and more terrible/enjoyable than the battle of Midway... just ask anyone directly affected by either and you will know the answer for certain.
I suspect that politics in Alaska are much easier/harder than in any other State in the US. The natives were a pain that should have been annihilated a hundred years ago or a nurturing society that guided modern man.
We won't "know" that answer of course until she tells us.

We could ask Rush but then he would give a different answer: history is funny that way.

It appears Palin is going to rely on other authors for this so-called "Palin" book.



This version of history is less written by her than the other one. At least she isn't even pretending to have written this one...

Just so long as they don't make an audiobook. She manages to hit the worst combination of sound tones in her speech. Yeesh! That's before she starts up with the religious stuff.
