There are many pro-western Iranians and if there were some sort of shock and awe planned for Iran, which I'm not suggesting there is, it would be wise to consolidate and consult with these people.

I'm sure the US has a few informers in place among the Iranian leadership as well.

You would have to go a long way to get support from our government at the moment. OUr economy is in the tank, and following the war in Iraq the public will not stand for another war at the moment.

I think the same thing is true here in the US. As I said in another thread, there is currently no reason for NATO troops to invade Iran. I don't believe NATO would sanction it and the US people certainly wouldn't.

I would like to say to you Lizbeth and Jack it does not matter if some in the public may not want a war with Iran,50% of the population did not want a war with Iraq but it happened anyway.I have said it before and will say it again America is not in control of it's own destiny and Englands foreign policy is a joke,so I am afraid war it is.

I was really angry when America invaded Iraq in 2003 but today I am not angry about the comeing war with Iran.I and others have been proved right about Iraq,and god wlling we will be proved right about any war with Iran,why is this,it's because the world knows today that"America speaks with forked tounge".This type of foreign policy approach towards Iran may fail because Iran is not scared of America.

Aint it's interesting to see how excited you get when you think about the comeing war with Iran,the idea of watching those muslims getting it just gives you that speacial warm feeling inside am I right?I feel sorry for America and England they cannot help themselves "they have to fullfill the book.The west was given 6000 years to rule and that time is up and any attack on Iran is only going hasten it's end to it's hold on world power.

I have come to the position that Iran wants to be attacked so it can have an excuse so it can do what it think's god has ordained for it,which is worrying to me.All thinking and aware people think that any attack on Iran by the west will be viewed like the attack on Russia by Germany in WW2,a disaster.If and when this disaster occurs all eyes will be focused on China the new leaders of the world.
