What I'm trying to address is the 'stripping' of citizen rights before any kind of trial.
al Awlaki is a US citizen by birth, born to two Yemeni citizens who were here legally. He lived here for the first 7 yrs. of his life. He isn't an 'anchor baby.'
If the US 'strips' him of his legal citizenship without a trial, how many other alledged criminals born to legal foreign parents in the US will also be 'stripped' of their legal status without a trial?
IMO, there are other ways of achieving the same goal. I've iterated them in earlier posts, so I won't reiterate them.
