However today the people fear the government, rather than the other way around.
The powers that governement can use to help or hinder are certainly something to fear so, in that regard, some amount of fear is justified. I would applaud a reasonable amount of fear.
Or at least the teabaggers do. From their point of view, a black President who isn't American is truly something to fear.
I don't find this fear to be reasonable.
From everyone else's point of view, the unAmericanism of their fundamentalist, imbecilic ideas makes the heart sink.
