The northern part of Africa was settled/conquered by Muslims, and that is the origin of this conflict, is only one of many reasons why Africa as not progressed while Latin America and Asia have. When will the dawn come to that darkness besieged continent I wonder.

Sorry CassielA, I was being sacastic in relation to Myrddin and Aint comments about Muslims. I do not believe any religion has a monopoly on violence.What I know of African history they were fighting among different ribes when they were all pagan long before Christianity or Islam came along.

After all Asia has many Muslim countries but it aparently more advanced and peaceful than Africa.
