Muslims who I have met do not want to kill me. Once again you are putting ALL in one category. One which they ALL do not belong.

The way I see it, the problem with killing of all of the Muslims is that when you do it, according to your own definition, you become.... a Muslim.

Killing people because we don't like them as a group or because we fear what they are as a group is what radical Muslims do. If you do what they do... what's the real difference?

I don't see a real difference and can relate this to current political climate in the U.S. where the Republicans use tactics that are undemocratic leaving the Democrats to either use these same tactics (becoming Republicans in that sense) or just hope the Republicans will for some reason abandon their tactics in favor of a more democratic process. Talk of democrats growing a spine and using Republican tactics as a matter of fair play is worse to me than letting the natural affects of undemocratic tactics reach their natural result. Unfortunately, the natural affects of such tactics are likely to be quite painful to the American people and the possiblity of fair play becomes less and less likely with each passing day.

As to religion, I would prefer the natural progression of religion, from fear of the unknown, to it's use as a means of power, to it's natural state of spirituality, occur, but this too is a painful process and one that requires more time than that provided by the human lifespan.

Personally, I think the freedom of and from religion is a much more valuable discovery to lead humanity in that direction than any weapon designed to simply kill the shells which contain that which we can identify as different.

I've heard of some Christians on a Pennsylvania school board who, although they didn't burn flags, in favor of burning what they saw as unChristian, and didn't yell "Death to America!" were willing to allow, if not praying for, death to unChristian Americans. If they had their way wouldn't that bring death to America? Or are they right in that America means Christian and non-Christians are, therefore, unworthy to be draped by the American flag?

There are idiots in all religions. How about the so-called Christians who disrupt military funerals and call their group "God Hates Fags." Can these people truly be called Christians? Do you think Christ will be waiting to welcome them into heaven?

This is why extremists who claim to speak for a higher power are frauds and assholes, Christian, Muslim, whatever.
