Aint Global Moderator Registered: 02/25/04 Loc: In Your Base	Not so sure there, Stone. Toyota has said themselves that the "shoe" is messed up. There's also been some question about their electronically controlled throttles. Is it bad electronics or bad software? All this programming we have in cars now, I do believe it's helped fuel efficiency and on the road stability. Some things though are best left as mechanical. Cy_Click Can you hear me now? Registered: 08/08/06 Loc: Minneapolis,MN	The president of Toyota seemed to be saying they had a problem that couldn't be explained away by blaming the driver and companies don't usually do that if they can avoid any blame.

It is not unusual for company leaders to accept full responsibility for wrongdoing, and in some cases culpable CEOs have joined the suicide club. If our own execs followed that path, it would help a lot.
