I agree that
the punishment for this woman is indicative of Islamic thought-process and shows us the great evils of Sharia law and its total incompatibility with modern western thinking.
But, does that mean that we do unto the Muslims what they want to do unto us? Do we do, as Lawmage has suggested, and
not allow ourselves to be consigned to the rubbish bin of history and that instead, we fight to preserve our values and our culture, even at the cost of completely and utterly destroying one that threatens it.
Does 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,' really accomplish anything in the general scheme of things?
