Yetm, the 5 year old acting ones only take three years to become adults where the grown-up for thier age simply remain grown-up for thier age. That has to be taken into consideration, also.

but a lot of them are more advanced mentally aswell as physically due to the internet,media et al which wasnt there say 20 years ago. (and in my opinion this is human evolution as well). So while on the one hand I would never condone a 3 year old who has reached puberty having sex, Im also against all this child protection backlash nonense, in particular what you have in the states with sarahs law (which is seemingly going to happen in the UK aswell. You over protect them and guess what they hit 18 have to go out into the big bad world and they cannot cope. The middle ground, grey area and compromise is to have a cut off point of around 12-13 years old where they are then treated more like responsible Adults and not children, and this includes having sex.(but I hasten to add shouldnt include being able to drink or get married as yet - maybe 15/16 for that)
Changing the subject slightly, someone like Pete townsend, who was never even convicted got treated roughly by the anti paedophile brigade because The Who international rock band played at a superbowl concert.
