The following commercial for a Dating Website for Gay Men has been banned from being shown during the Superbowl.
There is another controversial ad which has been banned by NBC supports PRO-LIFE.
And of course the GoDaddy.com ads were banned once again. No big surprise there though. As well as Dante's Inferno, KGB and PETA's "vegetarian's have better sex" ads. Those were understandable due to the sexual and violent nature. The political issues are causing quite a buzz!!
The ManCrunch.com ad is the most shocking. If it had been a man and a woman in that ad, they would have shown it.

I guess I can understand why both ads were banned. They wouldn't appeal to the bulk of the people who watched the Super Bowl today. Is that censorship? We didn't watch the Superbowl today. Is that censorship?
In a way. The Superbowl means $MONEY$--not watching it means peace, tranquility and a total lack of interest.

The pro-life Ad should have contained a number for people to call to adopt unwanted children, that is if they care more about children than moral ideology.

Go Daddy had some commercials on during the Super Bowl and if Dante's Inferno wasn't a game time commercial, it was on during the post game show. I saw both. Pam and Tim Tebow were also in a commercial for Focus On The Family.
These folks may not have got their first choice ads run but, they did get commercial time.
If I had a product to advertise, I'd make a commercial just risque enough to be barred from airing during the Super Bowl. The extra press is worth more than the price of a Super Bowl spot. And to have two commercials, one that runs and one that doesn't? Cha-ching!
