How did the Wheel of Fortune from the opening post do with its predictions?

I thought the rebuttal speech by newly elected Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell was interesting, because he pretty much said what the President said. A side-by-side comparison, (which I expect Jon Stewart will do) will show that it was almost identical in content, if not language.

It's like the President said "We need more jobs" and the rebuttal was "what we need are more jobs."

Except for one sentence tossed in for the right to life crowd, it was a parallel rather than contradictory speech.

I like Dax's comments...they seem to echo my thoughts word for word...except the words read much more informed and educated than mine would...the only thing I can add, really, is this:

For the first time I can remember, a U.S. President has finally ignored the needless and time-wasting standing ovations of the bureaucrats in that room, in essence, telling them to "shut up, sit down, and listen to what the hell I have to say" while delivering his speech....the First Lady did it, too...telling them to sit down and shut up, that is.

Am I the only one that gets irritated by all of the standing and applauding in the middle of the freaking speech?

I hate the "show" of it all. Just get to work, and stop trying to look good!!!
