Ah, of course. Because the instability in both Africa and Asia has absolutely nothing to do with French and British colonialism, and everything to do with those bundling, meddling Yanks.

That is funny. I hereby rescind my comment about the French not having a sense of humor and offer up my utmost apologies in stating as much.

stone, I am 100% with this guy. Lets get the US out of other nations business. Look, guys like him have been saying for years how terrible we are. How we bastards just muck it all up. Ok then. many countries have interfere with Africa. I do not think either blame or gratitude should go to one country.

While it might be tempting to say every one stay out of Afric in reality it is too late. They are part of thr global economy. They need us and we need them.It is like feeding wild birds they have become dependent on our aid they can not survive alone.We did this so we have an obligation, Perhaps lesser and lesser hand feeding but teach them how to survive in the wild in the neww global economy. If we want to buy their products we also need them,

Who mentioned Asia – me? I don’t think so. What do the French, the British, or the French sense of humour have to do with anything, least of all “American involvement” in Africa? Did you actually bother to read the original post or my reply? Again – I don’t think so.

I will gladly answer your question if you’ll tell me if it is a straight forward question (if I’m “looking for trouble” YES or NO) or is it one of those challenges – “If you’re looking for trouble you’ve come to the right place”?


NOTE: There isn’t one African country that has benefitted positively from American “involvement”. Prime examples of this are Liberia and Somalia.
