Elena, How is the abilty to fire over a thousand missle to China make the US or Russia. more secure because the Chinese have only a hundred.

All of the major military tagets could be destroyed by a few nuclear missles. The rest would just be use to destry civilian cities. China has more people and some would survive even 1000 missles. However would the Americansor or Russians be prepared to continue firing nuclear weapons. I doubt that i would as public opinion would soon turn against it particarlar if the major cities of the USA or Russia were threaten with destruction.
In the end even if nuclear weapons were used in a war only a few would be used before they were ban. You would still need to land troops and occupy the defeated country. In fact given the destrction you would have to spend billions to repair the damage in both countries.
