As I understand the Nuclear treaty aims to reuduce all nuclear weapons stockpiles. This includes all these countries. However 95% of nuclear waeapons are held by Russia and the USA. Surely it makese sense to start with them. Many countries who have the capacity have renounced getting nuclear weapons. Australia is supporting this.

The interesting thing is that nuclear weapons have nebver been used since WWW2 because of their danger to civilian population and retaliation to your own country. Even terrorist groups who face no retaliation have never used them.

The few examples where gas has been used as a weapon since WWW1 shows that some wapons are just too dangerous to use. We are not bowing to Russia to accept common sense, The Cold war is over and its now time we accept this. Obama is not giving in to anyone but just accepting reality. Why would a thousand nuclear weapons be any more useful than a few hundred.

How has Pres. Obama 'bowed to Russia's demands?' Because he didn't push for the missile defense system GWB wanted? Sorry, but I didn't agree with it, myself, particularly not after GWB turned down the Russian offer to share its existing missile defense system in that area.

As for what 'concrete' things the president has done in foreign affairs, he's certainly improving the US image overseas. You have been one of Mr. Obama's main detractors and one of your main objections was his 'lack of experience.' But there's one thing our current president has that our previous president didn't have--intelligence.

Wow! And yet it looks like Putin and Potus will be meeting, just the two of them and supposedly making decisions and all those other countries aren't even invited. More of that "Smart Diplomacy" right?
So terrorist groups, who apparently don't have their hands on a nuclear device yet have somehow managed not to use what they don't have. Who knew?
Barack Obama has done nothing but run around the globe kissing everyone's ass. What I want to know is when is he going to stop?

Right. Which explains that while Korea is test firing missiles working out the kinks in their nuclear delivery systems. And while Iran is feverishly working to gain a nuclear capabilty to wed to their missiles, Obama decides now is the time to cut funding for missile defense development? And that is intelligent? Bah! Obama is an asshole.

I know! It's hard to believe, after the Bush administration did such a perfect job of bribing it not to! I wonder what went wrong???
