Yes, racism and most other isms still exist all over the world. Just because I dislike Sharpton and some other members of A.R.S.E.S. As far as your idea of black people taking over Atlanta and declaring independance, I think if you watch BET you might get the impression that it is halfway done already.

I agree that the young black men had a legitimate reason to be angry over the noose incident but they attacked someone who didn't hang a noose, as far as we know. Still, vigilant crimes are still crimes. You have to be willing to pay a price for your crime.

I agree deifan, two wrongs don't make a right. Participants on both sides of this incident were punished in some form.

6 on 1 is not a simple schoolyard fight stone. Around my hometown even one on one schoolyard fights are still called assault and they students get punished for it, no matter what race.

The kid who got roughed up wasn't seriously injured.

I'm not saying the kids shouldn't have been arrested. I'm just saying the punishment came nowhere close to fitting the crime. Thats the issue here, not a bunch of dumbass kids who molly-wopped a kid.
