I was really impressed by Obama. I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to support him, from some of the stuff I'd seen earlier on Utube. I like his position though on the war, and can only hope that he won't screw things up too much for us on domestic policy. McCain oth stressed our need for experience in the White House, bringing to question why he would choose the running mate that he did. What was he thinking? That Dan Quail was such a good idea for Bush sr., so we need round two of the same? Or someone even worse? McCain is simply a repeat of the same ol' same old; ready to keep doing things exactly the way they've been done for the past eight years. If we focus enough attention and effort on Iraq, it will justify the false pretenses we went in under in the first place!? No Thanks! Tobias, if Obama stays on the road he chose the other day, he will be just fine. He does not need to play any games. Obama was pretty much himself. No attempts to fool us. That gets him big points from independents. McCain played the political rhetoric game, repeating over and over that "Obama did not get it", that only he was the one with experience and travels around the world. This constant repeating is irritating since he seems to think it is necessary for us "dummies" to get the message.
