Don't worry about failure
Just think positive

It is not that hard
So someone give it a try
Haiku is real fun

Oh no! Not again!
Left brain says, “Not going there.”
Right brain is sleeping.

A glutton for punishment.
When will I ever learn?

Truly there is no
lack of sentences that will
fit in this format

But true haiku must
Also contain a nature
image, (soft snowfall)

It seems to be more
difficult that way, like a
ballgame in the rain.

Global warming looms.
There's a nature image to
warm your heart, Buddy.

Snowfall in August
Can't happen except in dreams
Unless it happens here.

Temperatures fall.
Summer's cooler, winter's cold.
Damn global warming!
