Issac Hayes, whose music was the percursor to both disco and rap...and creator of urban- contemporary music, died at his home, age 65. He was found next to his tradmill.

Probably best known for his theme song to "Shaft"...my favorite was his version of
"Walk On By"...

That's sad. And yesterday, comedian Bernie Mac dies at the age of 50. He died from complications due to pneumonia. Sad year.

I will remember Isaac Hayes best as the voice of Chef, on South Park.

And RIP Bernie Mac, a talented guy who died way too young.
