Obama's defense of what "he preceives" to be a racist ad...is his business! Shame him if you want...but not without taking a real close look at his perpetrator's history. . o O (Ordinarily, I wouldn't feel obliged to quote the whole tirade, but I shouldn't want to be accused of cherry picking quotes)... [/quote] reiterate: Obama's defense of what "he preceives" to be a racist ad...is his business! Shame him if you want...but not without taking a real close look at his perpetrator's history. Like a piece of art, that dollar bill ad can be perceived anyway the viewer wants to perceive it. Considering McCain's history for making racial and anti feminine remarks...then I think the artist either means Obama is different on the dollar bill because he is black or he looks a lot like the "ape" that raped the woman in McCain's joke. What meaning does it hold for you?

Well, I'm certainly glad to see you dropping that silly nonsense accusing John McCain of running racist ads. Moving right along... Apparently YOU are the only one who is perceiving that Barack Obama looks like an ape, since YOU are the only one to come to that conclusion about seeing a PhotoShop image of Obama on a dollar bill. And if you'll recall, it was Barack Obama who brought up the idea of picturing him on a dollar bill. What meaning does it hold for you? Sounds to me like someone is deftly using Obama's own allusion to drill home the point that Barack Obama can blather about "Change" all day long but his "changes" have all the substance of a photoshop image; easy to do but totally meaningless.

On the other hand, what he actually said was "THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT I....have a funny name or don't look like money or whatever. He is telling you what "they" will say. In fact, basically what they've already said. Uh uh uhhhhh. Not so fast Dax. Bill Clinton, today, emphatically denied doing that. Cut Bubba some slack, huh? It's clear to me that there are people in America who will absolutely not vote for Obama because of his skin color. That is a fact. This is true. But I'd guess most of them are Democrats and Independents, since Republicans can be counted not to vote for him because he's a liberal Democrat. His color won't be an issue for them.

Rob Bishop owner of Binkley Toys was flabberghasted when it was suggested selling "the sock obama" was being perceived as racism... "he and his staff did not see any racist connection". Good heavens! I'm shocked! SHOCKED to see this proof of the McCain campaigns indulgence in blatant racism using Obama sock puppets. Uh...could you explain what position Rob Bishop holds within the McCain campaign? A quick google will find many of images depicted Obama with apeian features... You have failed to answer my question? What dus dat dollar bill ad mean? Oh, I'm sorry. Here let me answer it. Sounds to me like someone is deftly using Obama's own allusion to drill home the point that Barack Obama can blather about "Change" all day long but his "changes" have all the substance of a photoshop image; easy to do but totally meaningless. Ray: And if you'll recall, it was Barack Obama who brought up the idea of picturing him on a dollar bill. This is an outright lie, and I challenge you to find any statement Obama made to back up what you said, that he brought up the idea of picturing himself on a dollar bill. It's such an outrageous distortion of what he actually said it's beyond any kind of civil discourse. Really? I seem to recall YOU alluding to Obama doing exactly that: The fact of the matter is, the "not like the Presidents on the (money)" remark is undoubtedly dealing a race card. It can't possibly be anything else. His attempts to wriggle out of it are just plain silly. Oh, you silly, silly Dax. _________________________ Swiftboating = Catching a liberal in a lie and pointing it out to others.

Obama didn't juxapose his image on a dollar bill. I never said he did. Some conservatives were outraged and though Obama presumptuous because his campaign seal resembled the Presidential seal. So outraged was McCain, he childishly came up with the dollar bill ad. Oh you silly, silly lefties! The "Dollar Bill" ad is simply a comment on Obama's own megalomania. However, "The One" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mopkn0lPzM8) is a bit a Madison Avenue brilliance because it allows Obama to be hoist by his own petard.
