McCain might not be racist. That doesn't mean he isn't running a racist campaign.

Hillary Clinton almost surely isn't racist, but she ran a racist campaign in the primary, and that's part of the reason she lost ... but that was among Democrats.

McCain is running a racist campaign now.

Chocolategenii: I must agree with Nancy Reagan, dumping his first wife (who was crippled at the time) for Cindy...marrying Cindy before the ink on his divorce papers were dry...was unforgivable.

Let's see...here are a few racial remarks by McCain.

Sen. John McCain , "I hated the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live." ...said during his 2000 Presidental bid. When given the opportunity, he failed to distinguish between those gooks that tortured him, and those gooks in the general population.

Here is another one of his "jokes". I hope you "get" the humor, as I sure in the heck do not:

"At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you c*nt." -to his wife, Cindy, after she playfully twirled his hair and said "You're getting a little thin up there," as reported in the book The Real McCain by Cliff Schecter. Perhaps he was "playfully" calling his wife the "C" word...I'll give him that. As a result, Nancy and her son Ronnie only endorse McCain because of their allegiance to the Republican party.

So, NO, I do not "get" the humor behind paring two dysfunctional Hollywood starlets with Obama...to make the point, by comparison - Obama is also dysfunctional. I don't get that. While it can be said Paris made her own bed, Brittany Spears did not... Her only dysfunctional behavior is the result of obvious mental illness. So let's laugh at her, ok. Let's laugh at the metnally ill. Let's laugh at the handicapped...John McCain style!

Obama's defense of what "he preceives" to be a racist ad...is his business! Shame him if you want...but not without taking a real close look at his perpetrator's history.
