The term ( In my oppinion ) means Man ( Male-Female ) need to quit looking to the material and physical world, and others to provide us happiness, or to give us meaning.
We need to find that spark, that river of life, that heavenly space within ourselves to guide us, provide us peace, and fill our spiritual needs , so we can withstand the trials and tribualtions we face in everday life.
In common sense terms, we need to be happy with ourselves, with what we are and who we are, and what we hope to become, and nobody outside of ourselves can provide this, we have to muster the will power to allow ourselves this internal gift.

My question to you Sleek is how does one go about doing this?
I actively practice Kundalini yoga, which translated means "energy relationship" Kundlini - energy, yoga- relationship.
Too often people assume yoga is just a physical exercise..and the way it is practiced in most gyms across the USA is just that - a physical excercise.. It is more than that..it is connecting - making a relationship with your energy. So when one practices yoga correctly, she performs an excercise, be it a mediation or physical maneuver to connect and have a relationship with that energy. This is the same for martial arts... Practicing martial arts, properly, will give the same results.
This is just what I do...to connect and it works for me. When I practice yoga , I connect with my energy field. Some would call it having an "auric experience". This is a very euphoric. BUT, what can happen..and often does, the euphoria is temporary - an "auric illusion". It is really a "phony euphoric" . Just when I think I have connected to my energy and god conscious in my meditation, I am suddenly rudely awakened to the fact that I have work to do, answer the phone or make a meal ....answer a post on Fool Moon. To get beyond this, I have to e quit looking to the material and physical world that you have mentioned Sleek... Not an easy thing to do! Let me tell you...
I have noticed that the same false auric feeling is felt by people going to church on Sunday... feeling really good after the inspiring sermon, only to feel the bliss end by late Monday afternoon...
It takes work to have a real "auric balance". One that gets us through the week. One that stays with us, enabling us to face our problems from relationships to addictions from a spiritual perspective.
My practice is not a religion, for me it is necessary to sustain my life...liking eating and breathing... In fact it has made my belief in God stronger.. I grew up as a Christian and pray to a Christian God...

Good question CG and to be truthful with you, I don't know and it's hard for me to do this a lot of times.
My guess is to find a meditation ( In your case Yoga), or any other method that opens you up and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.
This might sound crazy CG, but there were times ( Very Rare) when I was in a dance club ( Don't laugh, lol.), and with the combination of the music I like and the flashing lights ( I was'nt drunk or high either, lol.), I just soaked it all in and enjoy the moment, and just lost myself in the whole thing of feeling good, after while I did'nt even notice that I was around other people, it was just me at that feeling of euphoria.
There are those moments of euphoria ( as you mentioned ) that are so real ( to me) but at the same time fleeting.
There are moments where I can see the big picture and that the ebb and flow of my life is in sync, and even when things go wrong it does'nt seem to effect me, then boom, I lose the connection and and as you say, it's gone just as quick as it came.
Once in a while CG I get a glimpse into what it feels to be happy and at peace no matter what's going on in my life, and nothing seems to effect me.
I know it's there but I don't know how to stay connected ( or if I'm meant to ) to that source or energy, I tapped into.

I hope you know you opened your mind to Satan ? He can creep in and do things to your mind oh so very subtle you have no idea. How "sleek" he can be ! How so? Practicing yoga, listening to music and dancing? Surely you jest? The sanskrit root for yoke is called yug...or yoga... translated: the meaning of yoga is to be yoked... The concept to be yoked to the Christ, savior is a philosophy of yoga. The WAY of life. My favorite image of Jesus is one of him meditating...he wasn't worried about the devil creeping in and doing things in his mind, anymore than I am..

I don't believe in childhood boogiemen like Satan. He can creep in and do things to your mind oh so very subtle you have no idea. How "sleek" he can be !
Grams I believe that "good" and "evil" are aspects of the human mind. I am Satan, I am God, I am the bringer of Harm, I am the giver of Healing. I am the intaken breath, and I am the breaths release. I am life and I am death. I am the dance of the forever Now. Compassion for ones fellow beings, stems from the knowledge that we are all but parts of the dance. There is one dance, and we all dance it even if we are not aware of it. The idea of Satan come from the delusion that there a non-unity in reality, but there is unity, there is but one dance, and therefore no real Satan.
