Marxism? No.
Like Christians, like yourself, I believe that my deeds will determine my outcome. You may say that all my good deeds are as rags. I tell you honestly that faith is indeed a deed. It is an action one undertakes. By telling me to repent and accept Jesus Christ, you are telling me God helps those who help themselves; those who commit that deed. This is how people of all faiths exercise their faith in their Gods. We act accordingly to what we believe they want for us.
I do not command any Gods. I am not a God. I do not hold the means to produce a God. I have not manufactured any Gods. If I were a Marxist, I would believe that I do, that I am, that I can and that I have.
Marxism teaches joining communal life so that one can reap its' benefits. You are telling me to join the flock. To join the commune and save my soul. Marxism teaches that those who do not will suffer. This is exactly what you are telling me.
Dialectic? You are speaking of Christianity.
Christianity is the up-start religion. Christians are the ones who infiltrated groups of Pagans and inserted their own morphed ceremonies into Paganism so as to appeal to Pagans and convert them to Christian ways. To cause dissension among an established group in order to convert them to the new group's ways is dialectic. Your coming into a Pagan forum and threatening us with damnation and offering us salvation is by definition, dialectic.
There is no Pagan equivalent to the Inquisition or the Crusades. Those were very forceful employments of the dialectic process.
Another way Christianity has used the dialectic process is by dividing itself into different brands; religions. There's Methodists, Episcopalians, Lutherans, Baptists of so many flavors and so on. Each of these groups was formed by smaller groups who exploited what other members of the larger group did not like about that group and then drew their membership from the existing group. Dialectic process 101.
Modern Christianity has become more subtle in it's use of dialectic process. They are doing this with new age, non denominational, open worship churches. They have seen that there are associated groups of people and large numbers of individuals that they cannot convert. They see that people are leaving the established religions or are just not happy with them. In light of this, they offer what they think these people want. Free form religion. It's not the same old brand X religion that doesn't let you do what you want. No. This is new stuff where you are free to worship as you see fit. Be the Christian you want to be. Not only is this dialectic by using dissension to covert members from one group to another, it's Marxists by telling people they are in more control of God than God is of them. These new open churches are telling people that they control the means and by participating in their belief system, they can still be in the commune and reap the benefits of the common society; Christianity. Marxism 101.
