Things are as well as they can be though they still continue. I have time this afternoon and some time tomorrow morning to respond. Then it proabably wont be till next tuesday.

Yes God has made both man and chimp. Both have hide, hair, blood and bone. etc. But the man is not a chimp and the chimp is not a man. Note your taking offense with the chimp in the mirror.

Man is made of certain elements such as oxygen, carbon, etc. Im sure these elements are found in a chimp also. But the man is not a chimp and the chimp is not a man.

That mutations occur, yes they are a fact. That mutations occur towards the evolution of a species to become another species is not.

As to the terms , "absolute", "fact", and "theory", I am just trying to see if they are being used in defense of science as they are when attacking Christianity.

I always want to know the world view of or how an author views things before I start reading. As a born-again Christian, I see nothing Chardin has to offer. Nothing to encourage me to read him. Perhaps in our discussion you can change that and I might get interested.

I have no problem with facts. If you through the apple in the air it will fall to the ground. That is a fact. Then, concerning the why of that, you have theories. Don't you agree?

And then somewhere someone comes along with the correct theory and the theory should then be no more theory. Correct.? It should then be a fact.

Well, Neptune is planet of gases; is a fact today. Tomorrow that could change. Thus, is that really a fact? Upon further exploration, could that not change? Of course it could?
