Look, Mousy1...I've been wondering about something you posted earlier about the HIV virus "munching on human brains", and well, I was just curious as to how a virus might go about consuming something as large as a brain. I ran across this diagram of an HIV virus, and I don't see any munching device. Can you elaborate on your theory of brain munching viruses?

SJSU suspends blood drives, citing FDA ban on donations by gay men San Jose Mercury News ^ | 1/31/8 | Dana Hull
In a move believed to be the first by a college campus in the nation, San Jose State University President Don Kassing has suspended all campus blood drives because the U.S. Food and Drug Administration bars any man who has had sex with another man from donating blood.

"The FDA's lifetime blood donor deferral affecting gay men violates our non-discrimination policy," said Kassing in an e-mail sent to faculty, staff and students.

The suspension, which is effective immediately, applies to blood drives arranged by employees representing the university as well as blood drives organized by student groups.

The FDA's ban on blood donations by gay men has been in effect for years. The FDA says gay men are far more likely to be infected with HIV than the general population, and the agency has a duty to protect the nation's blood supply.

The health risk to the larger population is of know concern to the bug, nor benefits it, survivial is the only objective.
The bug has access to all the human (brain included)

Swiss Change Safe Sex Message on HIV

GENEVA (AP) -- Swiss AIDS experts said Thursday that some people with HIV who meet strict conditions and are under treatment can safely have unprotected sex with non-infected partners.

The proposal astonished AIDS researchers in Europe and North America who have long argued that safe sex with a condom is the single most effective way of preventing the spread of the disease - apart from abstinence.

"Not only is (the Swiss proposal)

Not literally brains, but metaphorically it does make sense. AIDS spreads through sex, which humans are almost incapable of thinking rationally about. And it seems to prefer groups of people who are discriminated against. It's not that big a stretch to suppose that centuries of viruses with various infection methods and various demographics would converge on the ideal usurper of the human body.

It makes a lot more sense than assuming the existence of secret government knowledge.

AIDS also spreads through contaminated transfusions and shared needles.

Knowing that the AIDS virus is primarily spread through sexual contact, and realizing that secret government knowledge exists are not mutually exclusive.
