Preferably, a spouse is one's best friend, but it doesn't always happen that way. I tried to teach my kids to be best friends first with whoever they committed to a relationship.

I in a situration well I had this guy come in an out of my life going on 12 years now an he now tells me he loves me an I every thing to him but here the thing I am married now trying to push this guy away but canted. I've not been in this situation, but I can tell you that these issues are something that require an objective viewpoint, perhaps via counseling. When you and the other parties are in the thick of it, it's difficult at best to marshall that level of objectivity.

I met this guy through a friends, friend. The first time I saw him, I felt this funny feeling in my body. The second time we saw each other, he was sitting on the floor, I was on the couch and I leaned over him to pick up a cd on the floor. It's so hard to explain the feeling that came over me when I touched him. I just can't put it into words. We started dating and the first kiss was the same feeling I got when I leaned over him. After dating him for awhile I asked him if he felt anything that night we were at my friends house and he described the same feeling to me without me telling him anything. It was so breath taking.
After we met, I never looked at another guy as a possible date anymore. I could care less about men. I have the one person I want to be with. It's the greatest feeling.
We have been married now for almost 10 years, and three children later and I still love him just as much as I did when we first met. He understands me and knows me better than I know myself and the same goes for me with him.
I met him my last year of high school, we have both changed from teenagers to adults and have been through rough times and good of course, but I never doubted him even though we changed through out the years.
I also trust him like no other and he trusts me.
