Here we go with the NASCAR merry-go-round again. Last year we had Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Busch moving around. Now so far this year, we have Casey Mears leaving Hendricks. Mark Martin leaving DEI and going to Hendricks to take over the #5 that Mears is leaving. Today, we have Tony Stewart getting out of his last year of his contract to go become half owner of Haas/CNC racing, which will be Stewart/Haas Racing next season. He might be going with the #14 or sticking with the numbers 66 and 70 for the cars. He might be bringing Ryan Newman in to drive the other car which will leave the #12 open for Mears maybe. Or David Stramme.
Then there is talk that Martin Truex Jr. might be leaving DEI and landing who knows where. Then the two drivers from Haas/CNC have to go find new rides. Joey Logano might be might take over for Tony Stewart in the #20 car.
Stewart might have Office Depot as his sponsor with a possibility of Old Spice too. And this is just the beginning of the possible changes coming for next season.
I am loving watching all this happen.
