I had a union meeting to go to tonight after work. Not knowing when the meeting would be over and not being comfortable driving at dusk, my husband picked me up from work and took me to the meeting. Since we had time, once we found where the meeting was being held, we went to a cafe for dinner.
We ordered from the smaller menu and were very glad we did after we saw the size of the meals offered on the regular menu. The portions were huge from the regular menu. Mine, from the smaller menu, was more than I could eat.
Perhaps, when going to dinner, we asked for smaller portions, that would help. Certainly, serving smaller portions at home would help.
