I woke up Friday morning turned on CNBC,and would you Adam and eve it, Obama and Huckabee won. Bloody hell I thought. The American people have rejected Clinton and the out right Adam Smith lover. I went to work with a smile on my face. Then the real me kicked in and said "Do you really think that America is ready for a black president?" And to me the answer is no.
I thought there is no way people like Lawage, Aint, and Matt are going to accept a black man telling him that the war in Iraq is going to end,I mean what would happen to the new world order, imagine that America talking to Iran. And them "dastardly Jews" as Lawmage likes to call them will have to make a just peace with the Palestinians,I just don't see it happening.
I have said to my wife in the past that if America ever elected a black president then black people like me should just kill ourselves, because they really are coming to get us but with a "so called black man at the helm",may be this is why Obama has not got the full support of the black leaders in America who matter.

Most of us outside the USA were excited to see a black man win the first Democraric caucuses. Anyone who has visited the USA or even read comments in American newspapers like the The New York News knows that racial feelings are close to the sueface. Blacks and white live in ghetoes with little contact.Of cause we have similar problems here with Aboriginals but they are only a small percentage of our population compare to African Americans. Yet we see spokesmen like Cassiel condemned this election. Is it because Obama is not black enough perhaps an Uncle Tom figure? Or is it because he does not think the White people will accept a Black President? if America ever elected a black president then black people like me should just kill ourselves, because they really are coming to get us but with a "so called black man at the helm",may be this is why Obama has not got the full support of the black leaders in America who matter. I can not speak for the white Americans but the fact that he was elected by a mainly white district indicates that some would accept him. It may be hard to imagine change is possible. But it does take place. We have just elected the first Labor Prime Minister in 11 years. He presented himself as a moderate so as not to frighten the conservatives. However since he was elected he has reverse policies on Climate Change, Work place bargaining, and Immigration. He will withdraw combat troops from Iraq. Strangly the conservative opposition has said it will not oppose these changes which they were against for eleven years. Politics is about winning and onces a country has embraced change there is no turning back. If Obama is eleted the Republicand will not come after the blacks. They will look around for another black or at least radical leader so that they can win the next election.Because once the electorate embraces change the opposition has no choice to also support change if they are to have any hope at the next election.

Stone: Sharpton and Jackson hardly do much to further the black mans position in this country. Unfortunately, the black community is sorely lacking the Malcolm X they so sorely need.
Stone you know that I love and care for you but I have to say that today African Americans have a greater leader than Malcolm X,you and I both know that, the only black leader that could organize and hold the million man march.I remember in the 80's when Jesse Jackson was was running for president America supported him, because America did not like to see the shinning black prince, shinning. Why is America so against Jackson today? Stone Stop buying into their bullshit. African Americans have to buy into their bullshit because who else will speak up for them when injustice is done to them in their community's? Ray the funny: So who do you think makes up the other 95%? Hmmm? So who do you think was it that gave Barack Obama such a convincing win? The major urban ghetto areas of Cedar Rapids? This is what frightens people like me Ray what's going on if a black man can win any kind of election like that in a place like that,I have to ask myself what have the powers that be got planned?

aus22: Yet we see spokesmen like Cassiel condemned this election. Is it because Obama is not black enough perhaps an Uncle Tom figure? Or is it because he does not think the White people will accept a Black President? Chuck D of public enemy said "don't believe the hype" and I am not, just because the media is telling me Obama is the best thing since sliced bread I am not impressed,at least not yet. Ray: Cass, your ability to completely misread and misinterpret any and all anecdotal and/or statistical evidence produced by real-world events is exceeded only by your penchant for constructing elaborate, delusional conspiracy theories.
Some of you smart Americans like you Ray will just have to forgive people like me if we are skeptical, why because we have be let down to many times to believe everything we see and hear in the press. There is an old westindian saying "trust no shadows after dark",as for as I am concerned,it's mid-night,and it's pitch black.

So as I understand your post, if America does elect a black President, we're a terrible country, and if we don't elect a black President we're a terrible country. That makes perfect sense to anyone. America is a terrible country. You couldn't be moved off that position with a bulldozer. If I may repeat: if America ever elected a black president then black people like me should just kill ourselves Keep talking like this and you'll force me to vote for Obama.
