Anorexic Models....

The fashion industry in some cases want their models to look like heroin addicts. I think its even called that, "the heroin look".

You're referring to "Heroin Chic", a phenom of the mid 1990's. It was perpetrated on is by Calvin Klein who used the "waifish" anorexic model Kate Moss to advertise its products.

"Heroin Chic" is characterized by pale skin, dark circles underneath the eyes, and jutting bones. It is meant to emulate the look of a malnourished drug addict, and I don't know how in God's name anyone thought that might be a great look for women, but it seemed to go over big for a while.

I never did understand it. Here is the South that look never caught on either. All boney and square. Not a comfortable ride. Food is too good to like that.

And here I was thinking it was the up-all-night demon-possessed look. Skin and bones, sticks and stones. God In Heaven, Gabriel, and Saint Michael, deliver us from the evil axis fashion designer ones.

i say that the look is not only ugly but simply outrageous

That look was never attractive to me, personally I like women with curves.

Who wants to walk around with a woman who looks like a drug addict?
