...or as a certain conservative she-devil puts it...Quote: (brief sample of puerile Ann Coulter drivel).
This inspiring Ann Coulter tribute is to be sung to the tune of "You Fill Up My Senses" by the late John Denver. Sorry John.
You fill up your coooooooolumns With lies and distortions With trite observaaaaaations And lame hackneyed prose. You've nothing of suuuuubstance To say on one issue, You're shrill and you're senseless And wear skanky clothes.
Please do us a faaaaaaavor And French kiss a fuse box Do a platform-shoed can-can Near an oncoming traaaaiiiin. Now, I'm only kidding If I wanted to hurt you I'd make you read SLANDER Cause it would cause the most pain.
You're sweet and you're daiiiiinty Like a rabid Chihuahua You're moral and upright Like Reverend Moon and Jerry Falwell. You look like a hottie Next to Phyllis Schlafley But don't be too flaaaaaattered So does a baboon. La da da da da daaaaa..la da da da da..

While, I don't care for your political astuteness, I will readily grant that you have a talent for parody.
Unless Joe's username here is a cover for Bob Scher of LiberalOasis (or, possibly, John Cougarstein), I don't think Joe wrote this parody, but instead simply chose to share it sans credit to the author/composer. Anyhow, I think it's clever and because I love parodies, offer up the following (written by Charles Henrickson) for the FoolMooners Singalong.

NO FAIR TO BLAME A BLANCO Tune: "Una Paloma Blanca"
When the guv rides in a chopper And looks down upon the state, Makes it look like I'm a leader Like I'm doing something great.
I can look out through the window, I can point and look concerned, I can tune out all the questions That would really make me squirm.
No fair to blame a Blanco-- I'm just a bird in the sky! No fair to blame a Blanco-- Over the waters I fly!
Someone please make it all go away!
Once I had my share of voters And they helped me win the race, But their homes are under water And they all have been displaced.
No fair to blame a Blanco-- I'm just a bird in the sky! No fair to blame a Blanco-- Over the waters I fly!
Someone please make it all go away!

Political astuteness? What exactly is that? It was just my f***ing personal opinion about the feeble impotent FEMA response to hurricane Katrina. An opinion and nothing more, but it got me labeled a liberal, a liar, etc. ...simply because it did not meet with you and Ray's politically astute approval. Don't worry, I'm not a threat to your fanatical brand of in-your-face neo-conservative political ideology. Why not post hundreds or even thousands of these same types of meaningless partisan drivel discussions as "Dancing on the Graves of the Dead?" Cute...real cute.
Oh btw, thanks for the compliment, but the parody was/is warmed over second hand liberal-generated fluff borrowed from the net just like most of you neo-con's stuff is lifted from Fox News, Hannity, O'Reilly, Rush, etc.. and the other neo-con media sources.
I have no idea who wrote it. It didn't say. I must confess I did not bother to conduct a thorough in-depth investigation as to the true identity of the parody's author. I suppose I should have called up my cousin the librarian and asked her go on Lexis-Nexis and get all the poop on neo-con parodies.
Do you guys ever really listen to what you are posting in here sometimes? Do you even read this stuff, or do you just rattle it off the top of your heads? To hear you neo-con guys tell it time after time, Bush and the Republicans can do no wrong. FEMA can do no wrong. A politically correct neo-conservative is always right about everything under the sun. And naturally everyone else in America who does not automatically suck up to the narrow conservative viewpoint is always dead wrong and anyone who disagrees with that viewpoint deserves to be ridiculed and insulted.

Still not sure how attacks on Coulter and Bush address the claimed short comings in the Katrina response.
It doesn't, but neither for instance does Ray's attack on Bill Clinton, but that's allowed in here because Clinton is the liberal enemy. It's ok to rant and post a bunch of mindless drivel about a Democrat, but not a Republican. Clinton was simply expressing his opinion about the situation on morning television. How dare a Democrat be critical of government policy or have an opinion about something which does not reflect the Bush admin's viewpoint. The man agreed to help out Bush Sr.(at Bush Jr's request) with the fundraising efforts.... Still not sure how attacks on Monica Lewinski and Bill Clinton address the claimed shortcomings in the Katrina response?
