Hello Lawmage.I heard on Fox news that Iran had 2 weeks to say to the world what their reply would be the American and European proposals,I also read Iran had 2 weeks to reply on an Iranian web site called presstv.com and that was this morning.

Talking about consequences what do you think will happen if America or Israel bombs Iran?

Did Foxey News happen to say what would happen if this ultimatum was not complied with? Exactly who issued it; the UN, the US, or Rush Limbaugh?

I think I'll postpone getting all nervous over this until I see it in several media reports--including Al Jazeera English.

(Added by edit) I just checked Al-Jazeera, BBC news, and AP's Latest Headlines: no mention of this ultimatum.

Hello Bad Bird I may have been tired last night,but I did see on Fox news a report that said that America told Iran it had 2 weeks to come back with an answer.This morning I woke up read the same thing on the web site www.presstv.com,I notice that the report has been taken down.

I don't know may be some people are rowing back from some hasty comments I don't know.What I do know is that things can change awfully quickly in the media,last night Fox news reported that the Iraqi leader said that he agreed with Obama that American troops should leave Iraq in 16 months,now today it is reported that the Iraqi leader was misquoted,strange.

Bad Bird I knew before America invaded Iraq that the reasons given for the invasion was all lies,so I am making sure that when America or Israel bombs Iran I will be able to say to Lawmage and his like see I told you,America was using "the High ball,low ball tactic" all along to confuse the masses,before the bombing of Iran.

Cass, I think there is a difference between Iran and Iraq in this way: a lot of us here knew that the reasons for invading Iraq were lies. On the other hand, it does appear that Iran has a nuclear program that, unlike Saddam Hussein's, is more than just talk.

There is no question that America feels a nuclear armed Iran is dangerous, and certainly Israel feels that way.

Given the current friendship between Israel and the US, you can draw your own conclusions. Whether we invade or not, whether it's moral or even right to do so, I don't know. I do know that Iran is more dangerous to the outside world than Iraq ever was.
