So, BB, you are in agreement with me that a defensive system can easily accommodate, or be easily refitted to be offensive? Yeah, go ahead, Bad Bird. I want to hear you agree with Dax that the Minuteman Missile System was designed as a "defensive" weapons system. Go ahead. I'm waiting. Dax and Ray, I said what I said because it might be of interest: no more, no less. It was a factual statement of something that actually happened. I will not give a professional opinion about a system of which I have no detailed knowledge. Therefore,I will not speculate, nor will I sink into some sort of political p**sing match.

I will not give a professional opinion about a system of which I have no detailed knowledge. Ahhh. Very smooth. Since you weren't part of the actual Boeing design team you have no valid thoughts as to whether or not the Minuteman Missile system was designed as "offensive" or "defensive." At least that helps you avoid giving Dax the poke in the eye he so richly deserves. Side Note for those who are interested: http://www.strategic-air-command.com/missiles/Minuteman/Minuteman_Missile_Technology.htm ...nor will I sink into some sort of political p**sing match. Really? I think I'll hang onto this quote.

I cannot give you my work record, other than say that some of my co-workers were involved in this episode. I would venture that only the government (they wrote the performance specifications) would know their intended usage when they wrote those specifications. At least that helps you avoid giving Dax the poke in the eye he so richly deserves. I was aiming at both you. ...nor will I sink into some sort of political p**sing match. Really? I think I'll hang onto this quote. Please do. I suggest you put it in as a part of your signature.

This is the kind of posts that have kept me here on foolmoon: Ahhh. Very smooth. Come on Ray who can be a smooth as you. When I read some of your posts and Dax,and Stone, and others make me realise just how beautiful the written word is,you are funny Ray. Lawmage when is America or Israel going to bomb Iran, and while that smart brain of yours is ticking over, can you tell me what America and Israel is waiting for?

Dax: Iran presents a much greater danger to the western world than Israel does, therefore, I would rather Israel have nuclear weapons than Iran. Dax is this why an American envoy is going to the talks with Iran is this why we see America apparently talking to Iran for the first time in 30 years?Well I am sitting her watching Fox news watching Condi Rice saying that the "American position has not changed".I can imagine the press conferences the Americans are going to give after the bombing of Iran "saying that we tried everything to avert war",we even sent the 3rd hightest person in the "state department",to the recent talks about Irans nuclear ambitions. I said to my wife recently that most of the sales ideas comes from America and one of the ideas that I learned was called "High ball, low ball, high ball",this is a tactic a salesman uses on customers to confuse them, whilst selling them something, all the time controling the sale, controling events. The world has just been high balled by America, this is why the president of Iran has just said if your going to bomb us what are you America waiting for,he to knows that the up coming talks are a sham, this shows me that the upcoming talks are a waste of time and that America is just going through the motions,Iran must be bombed.

Stone: I'll bet anyone here $50 that we do not bomb Iran in the next twelve to eighteen months(even you limeys, though you'd only get $20 from me because the dollar sucks right now). As I said yesterday America has high balled the world, now today America has low balled the world by saying that Iran has 2 weeks to stop it's nuclear program. The Iranian leader has already said suck on this.Stone I hope you are right but I fear you are going to lose that bet,Iran will be bombed. Myrddin: The people are not in power in Iran really, the Theocracy is. So the question is, has Ahmadinejad pissed off the Ayatollah? Good question.
