Using a grinder to solve what problem? And what law would be broken? The only laws I've read that you need to be concerned about are the 922 compliant laws which state that you can only replace so many parts with imported parts for the weapon.
That's the first I've read about the bayonet causing problems with the mag though.
You have a Chinese paratrooper?
I read tons of bad things about most of the 30 round magazines. Feed problems and what not. I think I'm going to pick up some 20 round Tapco magazines as they get amazing reviews. Plus, they're only $17 a pop.
Magazine I'd also like to go with this mod for it, also from Tapco...
Furniture... It only cost $90 and has the picatinny rails so I can accessorize.
I also want to stick a recoil buffer behind the bolt to reduce the metal on metal contact. Thats a hefty spring in there.
Also, I figured out how to pull the internals out of the stock... Easy.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the receiver cover off. Theres a little release switch on the back right of the cover and I assume thats supposed to release it... just can't get it off.
Suggestions?
